October 14 – Defender of Ukraine Day (October 14, 2021 - October 15, 2021) Odesa

A number of events are planned to be held in Odesa on the occasion of the national holiday.

So, on October 14 at 09:00, flowers will be laid at the monument to T.G. Shevchenko in the Central Park of Culture and Recreation named after T.G. Shevchenko in honor of the soldiers who gave their lives for the independence and integrity of Ukraine. There will also be a prayer for defenders of Ukraine.

Thematic lessons, an educational lesson about the heroic history of the Ukrainian people, the struggle of its defenders for the establishment of statehood in Ukraine, with the participation of veterans, military personnel, participants in the anti-terrorist operation and the operation of the United Forces, will be held for students and pupils of the city's general secondary and out-of-school education institutions.

Exhibitions dedicated to Defenders of Ukraine Day will be organized in Odesa library institutions.
Events will be held in compliance with anti-epidemic requirements and quarantine restrictions.
